Eight teachers are selected each year. We invite applications and general interest from classroom teachers in grades 6-12, including those from Title I and rural communities. 

You should have 5+ years of experience teaching STEM/STEAM with strong evidence of including space sciences in your curriculum. Additional requirements include:

• demonstrated ability to infuse project-based learning into your classroom
• support of district administration to bring new approaches to the classroom
• desire/willingness to promote projects with parents, administrators, local media
• curriculum development experience 

Eligibility

• 5+ years of full-time classroom teaching
• current U.S. middle school or high school teaching assignments
• science/STEM/Arts as primary teaching load

Costs Covered

Space for Teachers will cover the cost of travel and lodging to and from the workshop, and the cost of the parabolic flight.

• Selection notifications will be made by Sept 21, 2025
• Workshop dates: November 13-15, 2025 (Required for selected participant)
