This collection of lessons is inspired by the book Sharing Space and its author, astronaut Cady Coleman. It is a vivid, thoughtful book that brings both the challenge and wonder of space exploration down to Earth. Each lesson is built around a theme or moment from the book, inviting students to explore ideas through hands-on experiences- from the beauty of viewing Earth from orbit, to the physics of launching into space, to the unexpected challenge of frosting a cake.

We are grateful to Cady for  sharing her stories, insights, and encouragement with our team of educators and students during their own journey into microgravity through parabolic flight. Her mission to “share space”,and to make it accessible and more human, perfectly aligns with our own belief that space is for everyone- astronauts , scientists, artists, and dreamers of all kinds.
